We're the proud owners of a house in Round Rock! We finished closing at 1pm or so and got right to work. The place was kind of torn up by renters, so we've got some work to do. "Phase 1" is painting the downstairs and installing laminate wood floors (awesome). Here's a boatload of pictures:

Katie started painting right away. Here she is finishing up the living room.
We brought Charlie over, but we forgot to bring dog food, so we had to improvise.
Here's 25 boxes of quality laminate wood flooring. I'll be installing these over the next two weeks---as well as the 5 boxes that are being reshipped because they got damaged.
Approximately 5 hours after buying the house, and 1 hour after receiving the keys, this is what the living room looks like.
